There's so much to know about coming to visit us for your first Riding Lesson but below are the answers to a few of the questions we get asked most.
You must wear Jodhpurs, Leggings, Jeans or tracksuit bottoms .No shorts or skirts as your legs must be covered at all times.
Allowed Footwear: Jodphur Boots, Riding Boots or boots with a smooth sole and small heal so your foot cant slip through the stirrup.
Disallowed Footwear: Trainers, High Heels, Sandals, Hiking Boots, crocs.
We recommend toe protection whenever handling a horse.
Jewellery:
You should not wear Jewellery of any kind, anything you wear you do so at your own risk.
It’s the parents responsibility to check their child isn’t wearing Jewellery.
No we can provide a riding hat free of charge. Hats (all types): Should be PAS015 or BSEN138 standard (or better).
Must be worn and fastened at all times while riding a horse.
Must be worn and fastened at all times while handling or around a horse.
Body Protectors:
We do not provide body protectors.
We strongly recommend you wear one whenever riding.
This is especially important if you take part in jumping classes.
You need to arrive 15 minutes before your lesson starts to ensure time to be mounted on the horse.
Yes we have private parking. All cars are parked at owners risk.
We will try to accommodate you on your favoured horse but we need to make sure that every rider in each lesson is on the right pony for their height, weight and capability, we have to make the decision of who will ride which pony on the day of arrival for your lesson. Sometimes our ponies need a rest and may not be available on the day that you have your lesson.
